GRIMM, Presiding Judge.

In this jury tried case, defendant appeals his convictions of assault in the first degree, in violation of § 565.050, RSMo 1986, and armed criminal action, in violation of § 571.015, RSMo 1986. We affirm.

There are three allegations of error. First, that the trial court erred in overruling defendant’s objection and motion for mistrial when the court questioned a physician because the court “abdicated [its] judicial impartiality and assumed the role of Prosecutor”.
