Ap*961peal from a judgment of the County Court of Sullivan County (Sheridan, J.), rendered September 19, 1995, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of kidnapping in the second degree, sodomy in the first degree, assault in the second degree, criminal contempt in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree and unlawful imprisonment in the first degree.
