This was an action for a divorce, and from a judgment in favor of plaintiff the defendant appeals.

The propositions advanced in argument require a somewhat detailed statement of facts. The parties were married in 1918 and lived until 1926 at various towns in Kansas. The husband was a physicist and had been teaching in Friends University at Wichita. In 1926 he obtained a federal appointment in the Bureau of Standards at Washington, D.
