LEWIS, Circuit Judge.
These consolidated appeals follow the entry of judgments in the District Court for the District of New Mexico in actions involving title to a portion of a federal oil and gas lease on lands located in San Juan County, New Mexico. The action was initiated by the appellee Underwood as a suit to quiet title to the lease interest as against appellants who in turn counterclaimed by claim of title in themselves and also filed a third party claim against the appellees Riddle.
