The plaintiffs in this action1 allege that the defendants misrepresented or omitted material facts in connection with the sales of computer tax shelters. The plaintiffs asserted their right to a jury trial in the complaint. Two groups of defendants—the accounting firm of Laventhol & Horwath (“Laventhol”) and the “Finalco” parties, consisting of Finalco, Incorporated, Finalco Analytics Corporation, Finalco Group, Inc., John F.
