On August 1, 2001, Timothy and Barbara Barrow (the Barrows or plaintiffs) filed suit in the Superior Court for Newport County to quiet title to a strip of land of which D & B Valley Associates, LLC was the record owner. The Barrows claimed title through adverse possession or, in the alternative, through boundary by acquiescence.
