Appellant Knutson Construction Company (Knutson), a general contractor, purchased comprehensive general liability insurance policies (CGL) with a completed operations and broad form property damage endorsement (BFPD) from respondent insurance companies: St. Paul Fire and Marine (St. Paul Fire), St. Paul Mercury Insurance Company (Mercury), and United States Fire Insurance Company (USF).
