The prisoner was committed for uttering and publishing in Canada a certain forged order or bank draft, purporting to be drawn by the cashier of the Hamilton Exchange Bank, at Hamilton, Madison county, New York, on the cashier of the Troy City Bank, at Troy, New York, for $5,-000, payable to the order of the prisoner.
