This was a case in which there was a dispute between a husband and wife as to their comparative interest in a house and lot in LaGrange. However, before the submission of the case to the jury all conflicts in the pleadings and evidence were removed by an agreement that the wife, the plaintiff, and the husband, the defendant, were each entitled to an equal share in the corpus of the estate; and the only questions to be submitted to the jury were the amounts expended, respectively, by the wife and husband in improving the house, and the amounts collected by each as rent.
