This negligence action is brought on behalf of the infant plaintiff, Dina A. Sorichetti, against the City of New York to recover damages resulting from the multiple, mutilating and disfiguring injuries inflicted on her by her father, Frank D. Sorichetti, on November 9, 1975, when she was six years old. Derivative actions for resultant loss of services and damages are also brought by the infant’s mother, Josephine Sorichetti.
