State v. Grant
Connecticut Appellate Court
1Opinion of the Court
Opinion
BISHOP, J.
Appealing from his conviction of assault in the second degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-60, the defendant, Lorenzo Grant, claims that the trial court violated his constitutional right to confrontation by restricting his cross-examination of the victim, Kareem Collins, regarding the victim’s drug possession at the time of the assault, and that the court’s evidentiary rulings during cross-examination of the victim, if not constitutionally improper, were an abuse of discretion. We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
