This is an action for wrongful death brought by Ora Harding, administrator of the estate of the deceased, James Harding, who sustained injuries resulting in his death when struck by a vehicle allegedly participating in a drag race. The suit was brought against the Chicago Park District, a municipal corporation which maintained and controlled the strip of roadway where the incident occurred, and Albert Macon, the driver of the vehicle which struck the. deceased.
