NEWMAN, Chief Judge:

Appellants Punch, Jackson, Alston and Coffield were jointly indicted, each charged with one count of carrying a pistol without a license and one count of possession of marijuana. Tried jointly by a jury, all were convicted of the weapons offenses but only Jackson was convicted of possession of marijuana. On appeal, each appellant raises search and seizure and evidentiary issues. Jackson challenges the trial court’s refusal to accept his plea of guilty to the marijuana charge.
