ALPERT, Judge.

In this appeal, we are called upon to decide whether the crime of carrying a concealed weapon may be accomplished when the accused is on private property.

Appellee, Raymond James Brinkley, was a guest at 2308 McAuliffe Drive in Montgomery County when officers of the Maryland-National Capital Park Police executed a search warrant at the premises. During the search, the officers performed a pat-down of Brinkley’s outer clothing and discovered a straight blade knife inside his left boot.
