HOLLAND, Justice:
This is an appeal from the Family Court of the State of Delaware in and for New Castle County. By decisions entered in October and December, 1988, and June and July, 1989, the Family Court, using the Melson Formula, recalculated the child support obligation of respondent-appellant, Kevin C. Kenton (the “Father”). 1 In this appeal, the Father contends that the Family Court erred in applying the Melson Formula, with respect to its treatment of taxable income which he earned by exercising certain employee stock options.
