DOWD, Judge.

The defendant was originally indicted on three counts of murder in first degree and one count of assault with intent to kill. He was found guilty by a jury of three counts of manslaughter. Defendant was granted a new trial and subsequently charged with three counts of manslaughter and one prior felony in connection with the shooting deaths of Marvin Gray, Donald Parish, and James Story. The case was tried in May, 1974. Defendant was found guilty of three counts of manslaughter. A prior felony conviction for murder in the second degree was proved and sentence was set by the court…
