Defendant appeals from his conviction for unlawful possession of a controlled substance. ORS 475.992. He makes multiple assignments of error, and we affirm.

In his first assignment of error, defendant argues that the trial court erred when it denied his motion to suppress evidence of a metal container seized by the arresting officer.
