The plaintiffs below brought this action for civil conspiracy. They alleged that the defendants conspired to take over the TK-7 Corporation, an Oklahoma-based company that developed petroleum fuel additives, for the purpose of illegally transporting shipments Of chemicals to Libya. After hearing the plaintiffs’ evidence, the district court directed a verdict in favor of the defendants.
