|TOn 1 April 2011, the state charged the defendant/appellant, Delmon Marzett (“Marzett”), by bill of information with possession of cocaine, a violation of La. R.S. 40:967 C. He pleaded not guilty on 6 April 2011. On 12 July 2011, a hearing on the motions was held, and the trial court found probable cause and denied the motion to suppress the evidence.1 The defense objected and noticed its intent to seek supervisory review.
