Plaintiff A.V. Patrick has brought this lawsuit charging that the four individual defendants, members of the City Council of the City of Florala, have conspired to deprive him of his civil rights and have discriminated against him because of his race, all in violation of 42 U.S.C.A. § 1985; Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C.A. §§ 2000e through 2000e-17; and the first and fourteenth amendments to the United States Constitution, as enforced through 42 U.S.C.A. § 1983.
