BATCHELDER, Circuit Judge.

The plaintiff appeals the district court’s grant of summary judgment in favor of the “medical defendants” on her individual claim of medical malpractice on statute of limitations grounds. We construe her brief on appeal as challenging as well the district court’s grant of summary judgment in favor of the defendants on her individual 42 U.S.C. § 1983 claim. For the reasons that follow, we will affirm the district court’s grant of summary judgment in favor of the defendants, but we reach this result with regard to the § 1983 claim for *240a reason different from that…
