The benefit certificate upon which recovery is sought was issued by the appellant society January 4, 1910. The member, an unmarried man 30 years of age, left his home in Shenandoah, Iowa, in 1915, and went to Pocatello, Idaho, where he was last heard from in November or December of the following year. His occupation was that of a candy maker, and he is described in the evidence as possessed of excellent habits and character.
