This action was brought by the receiver of an insolvent national bank to enforce the statutory liability of a stockholder. The First National Bank of Lima was closed July 19, 1934, and the name of the defendant appeared upon the official list of stockholders as the owner of 72 shares of stock, and by reason of such showing of ownership he became prima facie liable for the assessment levied upon the stock.
