AMENDED OPINION

GILMAN, Circuit Judge.

Janet Bowser and Earl Roshong were involved in separate automobile accidents while employed by their respective public school districts in Ohio. Bowser was killed and Roshong was severely injured. Richard Bowser, as executor of Janet Bowser’s estate, and Roshong subsequently filed insurance claims pursuant to the identical uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) provisions in the applicable school districts’ automobile liability policies, both of which were issued by Nationwide Agribusiness Insurance Company (Nationwide).
