In this case we consider- whether the trial court properly, enjoined a dog rescue organization to return a dog to its original owners. We hold that the trial court’s judgment was correct.

Alfonso and Lydia. Lira are siblings. They owned a German Shepherd named Monte Carlo. Alfonso purchased Monte for $2,500, and spent another $10,000 on training. Monte was living at Lydia’s home in Houston while Alfonso was working in San Antonio. The Liras had raised Monte from a puppy and had owned him as a family pet for seven years.
