The defendant, Curtis Fuzz, was convicted by a jury of aggravated battery (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1989, ch. 38, par. 12 — 4(b)(1)). The trial court sentenced him to a term of years’ imprisonment and ordered him to pay restitution in the amount of $7,693.49. The defendant appeals. We affirm defendant’s conviction. However, we vacate part of the restitution order and remand for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.
