Plaintiff sued to recover $22,000, the value of United States short term certificates of indebtedness, which he alleged he had purchased from defendant, but which the latter refused to deliver. He obtained a verdict for the full amount of his claim, subject to a point of law reserved as to “whether there is any evidence which entitles the plaintiff to recover the value of the certificates of the par value of $6,000,” which formed part of the $22,000.
