1. Intoxicating liquors : nuisance: abatement: closing of premises. The decree which the accused are said to have violated ordered the sheriff “to effectually close said building against the use for the keeping or sale of intoxicating liquors, and keep it securely closed for the period of one year, unless sooner released as provided by • law.” Subsequently one of the defendants therein asked that it be modified, so as to permit occupation of the building for other purposes, but the application wias denied, with the *589significant statement that “the building is to be closed . . . as to…
