David Wallace, Jr., eleven years of age, was a pupil in the Lower Colony school in Laurel County. On Dec. '20, 1938, he was a passenger in a school bus operated by the Laurel County Board of Education through its •driver, W. B. Bishop, for the purpose of transporting pupils to and from school and home. The child alighted from the bus near his home, was struck by a passing car and killed.
