At the conclusion of all trial proceedings in a suit for damages, Robert Anthony Jacques and Margaret Ann Jacques, his wife, the appellants/cross-appellees (hereinafter “the Jacques”) and The First National Bank of Maryland, the appellee/cross-appellant (hereinafter “First National”) *56have appealed from the judgment of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County entered on a jury verdict in favor of the Jacques against First National in the amount of $10,-000.
