The bill in this cause was filed June 27, 1924, by Eo-berta Chester against Joe Turner and W. S. Hart, administrator of Violet Turner, deceased, in the chancery court of Shelby county.

The bill alleged that Joe Turner and Violet Turner (née George) were married in Shelby county in 1908; that shortly after their said marriage the defendant, Joe Turner, was convicted of two felonies, and was sentenced to three and ten years, respectively, in the State penitentiary; that the defendant, Joe Turner abandoned his wife prior to the conviction, and had not lived with her and contributed to her support…
