Plaintiffs Edward and Deborah Manhart (“Plaintiffs”) filed suit against defendant and third-party plaintiff Morton International, Inc. (“Morton”) seeking monetary damages for injuries allegedly sustained as a result of a slip-and-fall accident occurring at a security guard station located at the Morton salt plant in Silver Springs, New York, on December 12, 2008.
