JANVIER, Judge.

This is an appeal by the plaintiff, Miss Anna O’Rourke, from a judgment dismissing on exception of no cause of action her suit for damages against Dr. C. Grenes Cole who, at the time of the alleged occurrence, was the coroner of the Parish of Orleans.

It is alleged by plaintiff that on July 9, 1946, at about 12 o’clock midnight, while asleep at her residence in New Orleans, she was taken into custody by two members of the New Orleans police force and was forced to accompany them to the City Hospital for Mental Diseases where she was confined until the next morning; that her…
