This suit was brought to recover upon a fire insurance policy issued to F. Cannpn & Co. by the Virginia Fire and Marine Insurance Company for the sum of $10,000 upon cotton bagging, loss, if any, payable to the Ludlow Manufacturing Company, of Boston, Mass. The bagging was destroyed by fire during the life of the policy, on Sunday, July 13, 1896, and the policy sued on is one of several concurrent policies. The total value of the bagging destroyed was more than $133,500, which amount was the total concurrent insurance. The policy was issued March 11, 1896, to F. Cannon…
