Defendant-appellant Albert Green, an officer of the Village of Maywood Police Department in Maywood, Illinois, appeals from an order of the district court entering judgment on the jury’s verdict against him for using excessive force in arresting plaintiff-appellee Ronald Brown in violation of 42 U.S.C. § 1983. The jury awarded Brown $21,500 compensatory damages and $45,000 punitive damages.
