BBOWN, District Judge.

The affidavit on which this order to show cause was heard states, that Henry Gutwillig on the 9th day of November, 1898, made a general assignment of all his property to William Leete Stone, Jr., for the benefit of his creditors, and that the assignee has taken possession of the property; that on November 10th the petitioning creditors filed a petition in this court that said Gutwillig he adjudged a bankrupt, and praying that the assignee be restrained from disposing of the assigned property or its proceeds until the adjudication upon the petition.
