This is an action to recover damages for an alleged breach of contract.
Pleading. The petition alleged that on or about the twentieth day of April, 1895, the plaintiffs, who were partners, entered into a contract with the defendant whereby the plaintiffs agreed to purchase of the defendant five hundred gross of Mason fruit jars, one half of said quantity to be quart jars and one half half-gallon jars, one dozen each to the box, and the price of said quart jars to be $5.10 per gross, and of said half-gallons $7.10 per gross, delivered in Kansas City, said terms being net cash within ten…
