Plaintiffs, Anthony and Piera DeMarco, brought a legal malpractice action against defendants, attorney Gary Ecklund and his law firm, Schlueter, Ecklund, Olson, Barrett, Mayfield & Davitt, for failing to file a breach of contract lawsuit before it became time barred. In the contract at issue, plaintiffs sold real estate to a buyer, Bruce Swanson, with a provision requiring Swanson to construct a water detention area on the property by September 1, 1990.
