This is a suit on a note. Plaintiff and its employee, Tom Shedd, acted as real estate broker and agent in the sale and purchase of certain real estate. Defendant was the purchaser of the real estate and signed the note in question, which is payable to plaintiff.

Defendant failed to make an installment payment due under the note. Plaintiff mailed to defendant a letter demanding payment, declaring the entire indebtedness due and payable according to the provisions in the note, and demanded payment within 10 days in order to avoid attorney fees.
