This case is here upon the appeal of defendants from a decree for the plaintiff in the court below. . The plaintiff and the principal defendant, Amos Stockhill, traded properties. The bill was filed to set aside and rescind such exchange on the ground of fraudulent representations made by the said defendant Stockhill to the plaintiff, for the purpose of inducing such exchange; and it is claimed that such false representations were successful in inducing the bringing about the exchange of such property.
