In six related actions to recover damages for personal injuries, the defendants appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (McCarty III, J.), entered October 13, 2004, which granted the plaintiffs’ motion pursuant to CFLR 4404 to set aside a jury verdict in favor of them and against the plaintiffs as against the weight of the evidence.
Ordered that the order is reversed, on the facts, with costs, the motion is denied, the verdict is reinstated, and the matter is remitted to the Supreme Court, Nassau County, for entry of an appropriate judgment.
