Appeal by defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Suffolk County (Ingraham, J.), rendered November 12, 1982, convicting him of burglary in the third degree and grand larceny in the third degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Judgment affirmed.

Defendant contends that his right to a speedy trial was denied because the criminal action against him was commenced on February 1, 1981, and the People did not announce that they were ready for trial until October 13, 1981.
