Defendant assigns as error the trial court’s admission into evidence of a blood sample purportedly taken from the victim and the admission of testimony concerning the results of blood typing tests performed on the sample.

The State presented evidence of the victim’s blood type in an effort to show that semen stains found on the dress Mrs. Lee was wearing on the night of the rape and on the sheets removed from her bed were consistent with defendant’s blood type and inconsistent with Mrs. Lee’s.
