This is the final case in a series of cases seeking, damages against the Metropolitan Police Department (“MPD”) and individual officers for allegedly searching private homes without probable cause. 1 In this case, as in the other cases, Plaintiffs challenge the MPD’s practice of seeking search warrants based on an officer’s attestation that, in light of his or her “training” and “experience,” individuals suspected of certain crimes — typically involving the illegal distribution of drugs or unlawful possession of guns —…
