I. Introduction
This is a wrongful arrest and detention case based on mistaken identity. Plaintiff Eileah Cleveland (Cleveland) was arrested by City of Detroit police officers and transferred to Genesee County Jail pursuant to an arrest warrant for an individual named Shirvell Cleveland (Shirvell) with a birth date similar to that of Plaintiff.
