Memorandum: Defendant appeals from a judgment of January 24,1980, convicting him of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree. He claims that he was denied a speedy trial. He was arrested on November 2,1978 and, after a preliminary hearing on November 9,1978, he was held for the Grand Jury. Defendant was indicted on April 12,1979 and arraigned upon the indictment on April 20,1979.
