A jury convicted the defendant of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor (OUI), G. L. c. 90, § 24(1); negligent operation of a motor *50vehicle so as to endanger, G. L. c. 90, § 24(2); and being a person under twenty-one years of age in possession of alcohol, G. L. c. 138, § 34C.1 Subsequently, the trial judge entered a finding of guilt as to the second offense portion of the OUI charge.
