Arnold-Burger, J.:

Master Finance Co. of Texas (Master Finance) and Kim Pollard entered into a payday loan contract. Master Finance loaned Pollard $100 with a 199.91% interest rate. Pollard defaulted on the loan payment; and Master Finance filed a lawsuit in Missouri against Pollard. When Pollard failed to answer or appear, Master Finance was granted a default judgment against Pollard in Missouri, with the postjudgment interest rate set at the contract rate — 199.91%.
