Relator has petitioned for a writ of habeas corpus to inquire into the legality of his detention under a final order of deportation made by the Attorney General of the United States after the dismissal of relator’s appeal by the Board of Immigration Appeals. Predicated upon a sworn statement made by the relator on March 12, 1951, that he last entered the United States in 1948 and that in 1933 he had been convicted of attempted robbery, first degree,1 2deportation proceedings were commenced against him.
