These appeals arise out of a claim for reimbursement of medical expenses under a group health insurance policy. In Case No. 90-1547, appellant Northwestern National Life Insurance Company appeals from a final judgment awarding appellees $10,000 plus interest for medical expenses. Appellees cross-appeal the trial court’s finding that Myrtle Rutta’s symptoms were directly related to her surgery and predated her coverage.
